The Institute HyperWerk is turning 20 and we want to invite you all to a 20-hour celebration!
Saturday, November 9, 3 pm non-stop until Sunday, November 10, 11 am
Together, students and staff are organising a diverse programme of workshops, performances and lectures with local and international guests. Everyone is invited to join in (or opt out) at any time, be it on Saturday, in the middle of the night, or Sunday morning.
Experience the core theme of HyperWerk: How can we live together? The »we« comprises human as well as non-human actors in the living environment. How can we – humans, animals, plants, fungi, bacteria, and machines – live together on this earth? How can we understand and document the interconnections among these different actors? How can we listen to those without a voice?
Please join us for lectures and workshops by students, staff and guests: Matthias Böttger, Mischa Schaub, Catherine Walthard and Regine Halter, Frances Valintine, Morgan JL Thorne and Matt Ward, Hengameh Yaghoobifarah, Tina Reden, Friedrich von Borries and many others.
We question the accessibility of the institute and would like to make our anniversary a more inclusive and safer space. We extend a warm welcome to everybody and offer support through guides and translation services* as well as an on-site awareness team. The programme in the high-rise building is wheelchair-accessible.
