VR apps can be developed using the Unreal Engine in one of two ways: Using classic C++ programming or via a powerful graphical coding interface called Blueprint.
Ronald will develop for this workshop some core functionality in C++ especially attractive to our openhouse VR presentation, which will all have a blueprint interface for ease of use. The aim is to empower us to demonstrate on the 13th of January through several public installations, how to collaborate from different locations in a shared VR space for the purpose of co-creation. We will try to assemble some 3D meshes, paint these with several materials and then output a camera view of this painted assembly as a jpg that can be printed on a color printer.
