… am Institut HyperWerk der Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW: Wir versuchen einander nahe zu bleiben, richten unsere Räume digital ein und lassen uns langsam aber sicher auf die veränderte Lebensrealität ein. Wie können wir in Zeiten einer Pandemie und Social Distancing zusammen leben? Welche Auswirkungen sind abzusehen: persönlich, institutionell, global? Welche Menschen sind wie davon betroffen?
Bleibt zuhause – helft anderen – bleibt zuversichtlich – alles geht vorbei: Diese Grussbotschaft hat uns gestern von den HyperWerk-Studierenden Luc Spühler und Raphael Hirschi von @woistdertisch erreicht. Wir Studierende und Mitarbeitende des HyperWerks halten uns als Teil der FHNW an folgende Bestimmungen: Es wird dieses Semester keinen Präsenzunterricht mehr geben und der Gebäude-Zugang am Campus der Künste ist stark eingeschränkt. Der Betrieb – auch Lehrbetrieb – wird jedoch mit alternativen Lösungen aufrechterhalten. Mehr Informationen der FHNW zum Umgang mit dem Coronavirus gibt es hier.
Das Semesterprogramm des Institut HyperWerk wird gerade umgestellt – wir sind mitten im Prozess. Die Mitarbeitenden arbeiten von zuhause aus und sind per Email erreichbar.

The state of emergency and a new everyday life – both to be experienced simultaneously at the Institute HyperWerk, Academy of Art and Design FHNW in Basel: we are trying to remain close to each other, furnish our rooms digitally, and slowly but surely we are getting involved with this altered reality. How can we, in times of a pandemic and of social distancing, live together? Which effects are foreseeable. on a personal, institutional, global level? Who are the people affected?

We as students and staffers of HyperWerk, as part of the FHNW, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, comply with the following regulations: throughout this semester there will be no more on-site attendance teaching events, and access to the buildings on the Campus of the Arts is restricted within narrow limits. However, we will keep up our operations – and our teaching work as well – by means of alternative solutions. More information from the FHNW regarding the consequences of the Corona virus are available here.
At present, the semester program of the Institute HyperWerk is being re-organized –we are in the midst of this process. Our staff colleagues are working from their home offices and can be reached via email.
